OK this is my first Blog post - hope it is in an appropriate place. This morning's FFF meeting was so energizing. Related to biking/trails it made me think about:
North Country Trail development (we're working on that - need more help and hope to start a chapter here). Bike Trail connection - meeting hosted by MnDOT in Detroit lakes at the Library on March 13 from 4-6 (all are welcome - it's a community input meeting and several from Fergus Falls are attending). Bicycle Tourism Summit - waiting for a new date for this in Alexandria (2/29 was cancelled due to weather). MS TRAM - eee gads July 26th will be here soon. I haven't begun to ask for help, but I know I'll need it. Hope you will all be there for me:) My son - 12 - has certainly outgrown his bike and will need a new one by Spring. Any thoughts on where/what to shop for? Central Lakes Trail group is creating a new map - saw another proof yesterday. Living Green Expo: got this info... The 2012 Living Green Expo (LGE), the Bicycle Alliance of Minnesota (BikeMN), and Minnesota Environmental Partnership (MEP) invite you to be part of the Living Green Expo Bicycle Experience during the Living Green Expo at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds on May 5-6.I have a flyer so let me know if you want more info.
OK - that's exhausting. Does it count as being active if I'm just sitting here at my desk? I doubt it. Must go the the YMCA tonight.
