Runners, Walkers, and Trotters gathered at Roosevelt Park Saturday morning to take part in the 2nd Annual Turkey Trot. The "Turkey Trot" is a Thanksgiving-themed race that is not unique to Fergus Falls. Hundreds of communities all across America have made the Turkey Trot a staple of their Thanksgiving celebration. In fact, some race directors speculate that more calories are burned on this day than any other day of the year, which is a good thing considering what follows !
Sounds like a good way to trot off the turkey and mashed potatos. Love the graphic and good idea to stay active when our TV culture is telling us to sit still and watch football players be active.
